Greenpower Energy Limited Updates on Lincoln Springs Copper-Cobalt Project

Greenpower Energy Limited announced exploration update on the Company's Lincoln Springs Copper-Cobalt Project located 220km north east of Townsville, Queensland. The inaugural Reverse Circulation (RC) drilling program at the Lincoln Springs Project consisting of 22 holes for 2,083 metres was completed in mid-April. The drilling program tested beneath and along strike of the historic copper workings at the Lincoln Springs Prospect, tested copper-cobalt soil anomalies and also tested Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical targets. The entire length of each drill hole was composite sampled (4m samples) at the time of drilling and all the 4m composite assay results have been received. One metre samples for each drill hole were stored onsite for later use. The 1m RC samples for composite samples considered to be anomalous in either cobalt, copper or zinc were submitted to ALS Laboratories in Townsville for assay with a total of 107 samples submitted. The assay results for the first ten 1m RC samples from drill holes LSRC004 & LSRC013 have now been received with remaining assay results expected in the coming week. The 1m RC assay results received include: 1m @ 6.64% Cu, 0.21% Co, 0.47% Zn & 0.26g/t Au from 24-25m in hole LSRC004 &; 1m @ 3.21% Cu, 0.17% Co, 0.96% Zn & 0.21g/t Au from 109-110m in hole LSRC013. The 1m assay results received so far suggest that the mineralisation at the Lincoln Springs Prospect is narrow but high grade. This mineralisation is interpreted to be associated with the Lincoln Springs Shear Zone, a regionally significant shear zone that extends for approximately 10km within the project area. This drilling is the first program completed by the Company and has only tested a small portion of the 10km extent of the Lincoln Springs Shear Zone. The recent program was successful in locating primary copper-cobalt mineralisation which will require further exploration to determine its size and potential. The remaining shear zone remains prospective for further discoveries and the Company is currently considering future work programs.

Greenpower Enters Option to Acquire Former Gold Production Assets in Qld

Greenpower Energy Limited announced that has entered into an option agreement with Q-Generate Pty Ltd. to acquire the former producing gold mines of Camel Creek, Golden Cup and Big Rush in Northern Queensland. The mines were last operated in the mid-1990's and between them produced in excess of 100,0000 ounces of gold at an average grade of over 2g/t Au. The Camel Creek and Golden Cup mines are adjacent to GPP's Lincoln Springs Copper-Cobalt Project whilst Big Rush lies 100km to the south west. All of the mines were in mineralisation when mining stopped in the 1990's when the gold price was below $400 an ounce compared with today's gold price of greater than $1,200 an ounce. The Golden Ant Project consists of 11 granted Mining Leases and GPP has recently applied for further ground surrounding the Big Rush area (EPM 27283). The new EPM at Big Rush covers an area of 301km2 which compliments the significant land position of 780km2 the Company already holds at the Lincoln Springs Project which is adjacent to the Camel Creek and Golden Cup Mines. At Camel Creek a total of 28 open pits were historically mined over a 4km strike length with over 1 million tonnes of ore extracted for treatment via heap leaching. The ore below the pit was sulphide bearing and as such could not be recovered by the heap leach process. Most pits were shallow (12-25m deep) and were still in mineralisation when terminated. Camel Creek consists of 7 granted Mining Leases. Past exploration was primarily focussed on locating shallow oxide resources for the heap leach operations. Gold mineralisation occurs over a strike length of 4km and the locating of further gold mineralisation at depth between and below the oxide pits is a high priority target and will be reviewed as part of the due diligence process. Limited historical metallurgical test work on the sulphide bearing gold mineralisation indicated the ore was in part refractory but this is yet to be verified and will also be part of the due diligence assessment.

Greenpower Energy Limited Provides Update on Exploration Drilling Results at the Lincoln Springs Copper-Cobalt Project

Greenpower Energy Limited has provided shareholders with preliminary exploration drilling results at the company's Lincoln Springs Copper- Cobalt Project located 220 km north west of Townsville, Queensland. The Company is pleased to advise that assay results have now been received from the first 5 Reverse Circulation (RC) drill holes at the Lincoln Springs Copper-Cobalt Project. Drill hole LSRC001 tested an area of copper-cobalt soil anomalism located north west of the Lincoln Springs Prospect workings whilst holes LSRC002 to LSRC005 were drilled on two north-south section lines adjacent to the historic copper workings. Drill holes LSRC002 to LSRC005 are all interpreted to have intersected the mineralised shear zone at the Lincoln Springs Prospect as shown on the two interpreted cross sections. Assay results indicate the shear zone is anomalous in copper-cobalt-zinc, ranges in width between 12 metres and 28 metres and contains a best intersection of 4m at 3.30% Cu, 0.16% Co & 0.27% Zn from 24 metres in hole LSRC004. The high grade copper intersection corresponds to the presence of malachite logged in drill chips at that hole depth. To date only 4m composite samples have been submitted for assay. One metre samples across the anomalous intersections are expected to be submitted to the assay laboratory this week. The drilling program is designed to test a combination of 3 target types at the Project; historic copper workings, copper-cobalt soil anomalies and Induced Polarisation (IP) geophysical targets. The drilling program is expected to be completed shortly with further assay results awaited.
